Uses of the Skin Cream

This combination cream is generally used for treating dark spots and pigmentation disorders, but it must be used only under medical supervision because it contains a strong steroid (mometasone).

How Each Ingredient Works

Hydroquinone (2%)

• Skin-lightening agent.

• Decreases excess melanin (skin pigment).

Tretinoin (0.025%)

• A retinoid that increases skin cell turnover.

• Helps hydroquinone work better.

• Reduces acne and smoothens texture.

Mometasone Furoate (0.1%)

• A medium-to-strong steroid.

• Reduces redness, itching, swelling.

• Makes the cream more tolerable but should not be used long-term.
